Visio 2007 Advanced

This section of the website features tutorial videos that cover more advanced topics and techniques used in Microsoft Visio 2007.  We feature a series on creating Custom Shapes, Stencils andTemplates in which several new shapes are created and added to a new Kitchen stencil.  The newStencil is used in the fourth tutorial to create a new Custom Scale Drawing for a kitchen layout, and this is then saved as a Template.

Over the next series of tutorials we look at how to visualize Data in Visio by linking data to a Diagram and then to individual Shapes.  We also cover linking Business Data in order to create aPivot Diagram, then track and total this data and format the appearance of the Pivot Diagram.Next we move on to using Layers in Visio and take a long look at Layer Properties to investigate how drawings can be segregated, protected and enhanced.

Finally we feature several tutorials on viewing Project data in Visio 2007 by using Timelines and creating a Gantt Chart so that we can track the progress of the Project.
