These are useful for complete beginners to quickly and easily acclimatise themselves with the look and feel of the interface and get to know the basics of how things work in Visio 2007.

Visio 2007 Basics
Our Getting Started series covers the very first things you need to know about Visio; how to use the interface, how to create and save a drawing, how to add shapes and how to connect them together. We also describe the process behind making a map using Visio 2007, how to make a flowchart, and we finish up with a couple of tutorials on creating a scale diagram using Visio 2007.

Creating a Map in Visio 2007
To give a more practical slant the third block of 5 Visio 2007 Tutorial videos describes the process of creating a directional map and introduces some more key Visio concepts along the way.The next block of Tutorial Videos cover using shapes to create basic diagrams in Visio. We explain the procedure for putting shapes on the page and cover in detail the various methods available to connect shapes together, a fundamental requirement in most drawings. The series covers 1 and 2 dimensional shapes, point to point and shape to shape connections.
Flowcharts in Visio 2007
The final block features the classic Visio task – creating and editing the flowchart. We look at how to create a flowchart in the first video using Visio 2007 and, in the second Visio 2007 tutorial in the series, explore ways of making it more efficient and visually appealing with enhancements.
